UGH, the wait.

Okay, so I stopped by the clinic last Thursday to let them know that I was done with all my testing. I still haven't heard anything from them, and it is now Tuesday morning. They said once I was done with all my required testing that I would receive a surgery date, no such luck just yet.
I contacted them yesterday to get an update, and they said they were waiting on a one more report from one of my test. I later go confirmation that the test was faxed over late yesterday....soooo.....maybe they will be calling me today. Fingers crossed!! I am ready for this.

In preparation for my big day and the life that follows, I made a list of foods, equipment, and vitamins that I will need starting day ONE! So many changes in my lifestyle now, but thats okay. I am ready for this. I ordered some things from bariatriceating.com, made a shopping list to pick up soon. I even have to buy some new kitchen appliances. Any excuse to buy new things...lol I made up some mock menus for when I am able to start eating again. I have to start with a liquid diet then advance to soft, before I can even begin to start eating solid foods. But of course even when I start eating solids, I won't go back to "normal" eating ever again. It's pretty complex, but by the time comes that I advance to that stage of the process, I will be 100% ready for it! With all the materials I have been given, the information on the internet, I should have no reason to be anything but prepared.
So for now....I wait for the phone call.
